Age suitability

Why sec. currently limits registration to users aged 18 and over.

Current eligibility

Sec. is currently focused on people managing their work and professional activities. At this stage, registration is limited to users aged 18 and over to support responsible use and accountability.

This minimum-age policy reflects how sec. accounts are used, including professional communications, personal information, account security, and commercial activities. It is not intended to describe sec. as a mature-entertainment service.

How age is handled

New users must confirm that they are at least 18 years old when registering. This is a self-reported declaration. Sec. does not collect a date of birth and does not independently verify a user’s age.

Store age ratings

App stores use their own age-rating systems and content questionnaires. A store rating may therefore reflect both sec.’s current minimum-age policy and the rating rules that apply in a particular country, region, or device version.

Future access

We may expand access to younger users in the future after considering the safeguards, product experience, and legal requirements appropriate for them.
